There is one international Academy of Professional Dialogue, formed in March 2017, which provides common professional standards, a single website globally and a range of international events including the annual conference. As national Academies are formed in different countries, they have an automatic right to appoint representatives to be Trustees and Members of the international Academy. Work is progressing to form national Academies in Sweden, UK, USA, Germany, Norway, Finland and South Africa.
National Academies enable their members to meet and confer locally in their own language, to address features of their local context, and to host national events. Members can engage internationally in English with those from other countries, in virtual Practitioner Circles and at international members’ meetings. All members of national Academies are automatically associate members of the international Academy of Professional Dialogue
