Members from some countries meet regularly in national groups to be able to speak in their native language, meet in-person or in a common time-zone, and to address features of their local context.  Currently, national groups meet in USA, UK, Sweden, South Africa, Germany, Norway and Finland.

The Academy’s vision is to support members to establish National Academies, as charitable organisations in their own country. Once constituted, a national Academy will have the automatic right to appoint representatives to be Trustees and Members of the international Academy.

The US Academy was formed in 2019.

The international Academy of Professional Dialogue provides common professional standards and accreditation, a single website for the public and for members, and a range of international events including the annual conference.
