Seven-Series Dialogues - William Isaacs

In April of 2020, a group of colleagues and I held a series of dialogues to try to make sense of the pandemic. As a result we set up a series of seven, 90-minute biweekly dialogues between April and July of 2020.
Our intention was to make a genuine space for conversation—a dialogue that allowed people to uncover the meaning they were making of the situation, and to listen collectively for what was emerging in an unprecedented way.
We did not seek to impose meaning on what we saw as a massive reset for the planet, but to catalyze an inquiry into it. As we put it in the invitation, This cycle of seven dialogues is an opportunity for you to join in communion and connection with others. It will be a step-by-step exploration that will enable you to bring your questions about the current moment, to listen, and reflect. You will participate in a larger community of people focused on genuine collective inquiry and deep exploration. We will all be teachers and learners simultaneously… Each of us has some of the requisite experience and perspective; no one has all of it. We give each other permission to live more fully and operate in a way that transcends fear.
